ideastream has an amazing opportunity in its Development department for someone interested in learning more about the field of Planned Giving. Using best practices in the growing field of prospect research, the intern will assist in identifying potential donors to support ideastream’s programming and projects.

The intern will support these efforts by researching potential prospects and analyzing strategic plans and communication platforms. He/she/they will assist the Director of Major Gifts with implementing and maintaining planned giving records in databases and compiling information to create planned giving reports.

Qualified applicants will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to perform detail work in an organized and competent manner. This is a paid internship that will be scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week for 10 weeks beginning on/about June 7, 2021. The intern will work both remotely and in the office.
