The Cleveland Orchestra is currently seeking a Planned Giving and Major Gift Officer, who will be responsible for executing the fundraising strategy to increase major gifts for operating, endowment, and deferred giving efforts at The Cleveland Orchestra, with direct management of the planned giving program. As a key member of the Major Gifts Team, responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts (operating and endowment); developing and expanding the planned giving program; and serving as a resource for donors and the entire department on general tax and legal aspects of charitable giving. The Planned Giving and Major Gift Officer manages a portfolio of approximately 75 donor prospects, develops strategy to increase awareness of planned giving opportunities, and manages a secondary stewardship portfolio of all donors with documented planned gifts.
