The Cleveland Orchestra is currently seeking a Customer Retail Associate, a highly visible, guest-facing member of the team, responsible for ensuring that guests receive welcoming, personalized and knowledgeable assistance that is delivered effectively and accurately.  The Associate assists with merchandising, marketing, inventory control, and designated financial management. This is a part-time position averaging 5-10 hours per week.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • GED or High school diploma.
  • Interest in or experience with orchestral music preferred.
  • A commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
  • Prior work experience in a retail establishment; experience in a high-end retail setting strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of marketing and product development.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work at both Severance Music Center and Blossom Music Center.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Point of Sale systems, cash, and credit processing.
  • Demonstrate independent, mature judgment; convey a professional image and attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
