PAA seeks to expand its roster of artists who draw inspiration from working with young people.
Since 2002, Progressive Arts Alliance (PAA) has been bringing learning to life through art by exciting students, teachers, and the general public with dynamic arts programs that integrate art into the curriculum. PAA brings art to the classroom, building collaborative partnerships with teachers in a variety of art forms while providing inclusive and culturally responsive programs. Our specialized group of professional artists creates an environment that helps youth learn, imagine, create and innovate in schools, libraries and after-school programs throughout the community.
We are currently recruiting teaching artists for summer and fall programming. We seek artists with:
• Skills/training and professional experience in any art form
• Artists who specialize in dance (hip-hop, step dance, culturally specific dance forms) or visual arts (mural design, installation, mixed media, digital animation, graphic design, photography, filmmaking) are especially encouraged to apply.
To Apply: Submit resumé and cover letter to Maryanne Hiti, Program Manager, at maryanne@paalive.org. No phone calls, please.
Progressive Arts Alliance is committed to advancing racial equity and values diversity within the organization.
