Interstitial Researcher Intern
Do you enjoy researching information and interpreting data? Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a thriving, mission-driven multimedia organization? ideastream’s Marketing and Traffic departments are looking for a summer intern to evaluate our interstitial advertising. What’s an interstitial? They’re the commercial segments you hear in between our on-air programming.
The intern will research national and local sources of interstitial material and make suggestions on how to update our library. He/she/they will also learn how to schedule interstitials and will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of basic broadcast traffic concepts, procedures, terminology, and the importance of public television traffic.

Qualified applicants will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to perform detail work in an organized and competent manner. This is a paid internship that will be scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week for 10 weeks beginning on/about June 7, 2021. This a remote position.
