On Saturday, May 22, NAMI Greater Cleveland is hosting Hope-N-Mic. Funded by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, this virtual mental health education/awareness event will feature spoken word performances (e.g. poetry readings, poetry slams, jazz poetry, hip hop music, prose monologues) and education presentations from mental health professionals to raise awareness and reduce stigma among young adults in Black and Brown communities.
If you are an artist/band in the genres of hip hop, R&B, indie, or rock music and interested in more information, contact Archie at agreen@namicleveland.org
