Grants Manager

Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio’s largest PBS, NPR, and classical radio stations, seeks a passionate and organized Grants Manager to manage our portfolio of grants and proposals and to identify new sources of funding.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Foundation and Corporate Support, the Grants Manager is responsible for managing the grant writing process for the organization which includes preparing proposals to solicit funds from corporations, foundations, and government agencies, and stewardship reports. You will also write letters of inquiry, requests for proposals, and narrative and financial reports. This position supervises the work of the Foundation and Corporate Support Coordinator.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate proficiency in CRM databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent written and verbal communication. A Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, English, humanities, or a related field, and three to four years of non-profit experience writing grants, proposals, and reports is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. The starting salary for this position is $63,000 and is commensurate with experience.
