The BorderLight Festival seeks a part-time, permanent staff member to fill the key communications role of Engagement & Advancement Manager. This position comprises marketing, audience engagement and development support.  This is a great opportunity for a creative and strategic thinker to help grow the festival's impact. This position will suit a communications professional who is excited to play a variety of responsible roles as part of a small team, and by our mission: to present visionary international theatre and build cross-cultural understanding.

The BorderLight Festival + Fringe , which launched successfully in 2019, is a biennial theatre festival that takes place in downtown Cleveland in late July. Due to the cancellation of the in-person 2021 festival due to COVID, the next festival will take place July 20-24, 2022.

Please see attachment for a complete job description.

Terms: Part-time position from February 1, 2022, with longer hours and pro-rated pay during biennial festival season. Must be flexible with variable hours and available for occasional evening and weekend work. Job is often remote. Part time base pay is $19,000 per year, averaging approximately 80 hours/month.

How to apply: Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and resume via email to: info@borderlightcle.org (Attn: HR) No phone calls please. Suitable candidates will be contacted by email for an interview. The deadline to apply is Monday, January 31, but candidates will be considered on a rolling basis and interviews will be held as qualified candidates are identified.
