Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based multiple media organization and home to Ohio’s largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, seeks a collaborative and organized professional to serve as Education Projects Coordinator in support of the Ohio Learns 360 grant. Over the course of this two-year assignment, the Education Projects Coordinator will be responsible for developing and facilitating projects, outreach and engagement activities, and events for children ages 3 – 10 and their families. In this role, you will collaborate with other Ohio PBS stations to maximize sharing, reach, content and resources of Ohio Learns 360. The Education Projects Coordinator will gather project data and document activities and outcomes to measure impact in the community and will develop and partnerships with local education and community partners.
Qualified candidates will have demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and have strong verbal and written communication, decision making and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Community Relations, or a related field, and three years of experience is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. The salary range for this position begins at $40,000 and is commensurate with experience.
