Education Director

The Education Director of GroundWorks DanceTheater is responsible for the design and implementation of all educational and community programming including but not limited to program design, lesson planning, teaching artist training, program evaluation, grant support, program budgeting, and teaching/facilitating.  The Education Director is also responsible for the day-to-day management and administrative oversight of the programs including data collection, data input, material collection, relationship building, and maintaining a presence in the community.  This person consults with the Executive Director and is guided by the company values of GroundWorks in the development of new programs and the exploration of new or expanded opportunities.  They will work with and manage the company dancers, teaching artists, trainees, and/or interns to help implement and carry out the education and community programs.
