DIGITAL ENROLLMENT MARKETING MANAGER
The Cleveland Institute of Art invites applications for the position of Digital Enrollment Marketing Manager.  Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing while working collaboratively with the Director of Enrollment Management, the Digital Enrollment Marketing Manager is responsible for the management, oversight, and strategic leadership of CIA’s digital enrollment marketing efforts, including the college’s public-facing website, digital recruitment outreach, digital advertising, and all social media platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategizing, optimizing, maintaining and reporting on all of CIA’s digital enrollment marketing initiatives, including: CIA’s enrollment-focused social media platforms, CIA’s public-facing website, and all digital marketing/advertisement strategies.
  • Update and maintain CIA’s website and mobile site.
  • Manage site architecture and develop site features and functionality.
  • Work with the Information Technology Department to perform regular accessibility audits of institutional websites and web applications.
  • Update and maintain CIA’s enrollment-facing social media presence. This includes identifying trends, developing strategies, reporting on analytics, creating and managing content.
  • Strategically manage the college’s digital marketing strategies and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Plan and execute enrollment-focused digital marketing initiatives. Track, analyze, and report performance of all digital marketing activity, assess against goals, and make recommendations for optimal performance
  • Advise team on digital marketing best practices, including the direction of creative content, user interface/user experience, calls-to-action, testing & deployment, performance & strategic responses. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption, where appropriate.
  • Contribute to CIA’s enrollment marketing strategies on visual brand, identity, aesthetic, and creative content development.
 QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires strong knowledge of web and social media analytics
  • Requires oral/written communication skills
  • Requires organizational skills and ability to complete projects on a strict schedule
  • Requires knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0 and ADA Section 508Familiarity with Java, JQuery, Jscript, or similar development software
  • Requires ability to stay current in all of the above areas
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar discipline
  • Required 3 or more years of digital marketing and social media experience
  • A creative background with familiarity in communication design, motion graphics and/or digital photography/video
  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) benchmarking and digital marketing strategy and trend recognition.
  • Non-profit or higher education experience preferred
