Ideastream Public Media, a Cleveland-based media organization and home to Ohio’s largest NPR, PBS and classical radio stations, continues to expand its trusted, in-depth, high-quality local news and information service to 22 counties in Northeast Ohio. As part of that expansion, Ideastream seeks a collaborative and organized professional to serve as Corporate Development Sales Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director, Foundation and Corporate Support, the Corporate Development Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Account Executives and a Coordinator who secure revenue from local businesses, corporations, community organizations, and advertising agencies through sponsorship of Ideastream’s radio, television, and digital platforms. In this role, you will support the Account Executives growth with existing clients as well as generate new clients. The Corporate Development Sales Manager is also responsible for the budgeting, management, and strategy behind meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly departmental goals with a focus on growing new business for the Corporate Sales Team.
Qualified candidates will have five to seven years of experience managing a dynamic performance-based account team in a broadcast, non-profit, business to business, professional services, or purpose driven organizational environment and a Bachelor’s degree, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. The salary for this position begins at $85,000 and includes opportunities for performance goal bonuses and is commensurate with experience. A valid Ohio drivers’ license and a reliable vehicle are required for this position.
