The Chief Financial Officer has responsibility for leading all aspects of financial management for the organization, which has an annual budget of $15 million and consecutive years of a balanced budget.  CMNH is about to embark on a major expansion/renovation project.  As a result, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be critical in leading the effort to budget and forecast the various components of the project, as well as play a lead role in enhancing revenue and development efforts.  The CFO will collaborate on matters of organizational change, business decision-making, and overall leadership of the Museum.  The CFO will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensuring that it has the flexibility and resources it needs to be successful.  The CFO establishes and maintains strong relationships with the Board of Directors, large donors where appropriate, and the Museum’s external auditors, accountants, and investment advisors.  This position reports to President and CEO of the museum.
