What is a Teaching Artist?

Teaching Artists (TAs) play a critical role in supporting short and long-term arts education experiences in classrooms and after-school programs. These two-career professionals are invited into schools, partner with Educators, guide Scholars through creative learning experiences, and include the community.

Who Can Apply?

We are seeking to work with current professional artists in Northeast Ohio who have a passion for youth education. Artists from Glenville/Hough and St. Clair/Superior neighborhoods are encouraged to apply. Professional artists of any discipline are welcome. No formal training, teaching experience, or degree necessary.
