The Shaker Arts Council (SHAC) invites local community members to submit proposals for arts-related lectures/webinars that will be offered during the Winter and Spring. The dates of the sessions are January 17 – March 20 and March 21 – May 30, 2021. These events will be presented via Shaker Arts Council’s Zoom account as a part of Stay-in-Place Productions. Webinars will be free and open to the public. SHAC will not be able to compensate presenters; however, we hope that this opportunity to share your expertise will help give you exposure and promote your business.
Webinars will be scheduled for one-hour slots. The format will begin with presentations and will be followed with a question and answer period.
Examples of topics include:
• A cooking demonstration
• How to write contracts between artists and patrons
• Managing stress with the arts
• Navigating your arts career

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Preference will be given to residents of Shaker Heights and the Shaker Heights School District and to Shaker Arts Council members.

Applicants will be notified after review by the selection committee.
