Cleveland Play House seeks a creative, innovative, and passionate storyteller to join the marketing team. The Audience Engagement & Accessibility Manager works under the supervision of the Director of Marketing to support strategic goals, outreach activities, increase audience engagement, and increase earned revenue. This compassionate team member will support CPH's by developing and implementing innovative strategies to transform our brand into an experience that fosters a sense of belonging for all audiences.

The Audience Engagement & Accessibility Manager must be a strategic thinker, team player, and should have knowledge of target marketing strategies, database analytical resources, and best practices for delivering accessibility services for theatre audiences. The performance of duties outlined below must be carried out within the mission of CPH: to inspire, stimulate, and entertain diverse audiences across Northeast Ohio with plays and theatre education programs of the highest professional standards. An integral member of the communications, marketing, and audience services teams, this role is responsible for following tasks and duties:

  • Act as an advocate for persons with disabilities and stay current with best practices in the area of inclusive access and applicable accessibility laws.
  • Collaborate with artistic, education, development, and production on various projects and events for enhancing the CPH user experience.
  • Develop and manage ticket promotions, including accessible ticketing for students, seniors, patrons with disabilities, military personnel, low-income families, etc.
  • Audit, analyze, and generate reports on digital marketing metrics and audiences demographics to empower strategies and campaigns to attract and retain patrons across product lines.
  • Distribute outreach materials to community members, partner organizations, and businesses.
  • Monitor social media activity, providing timely responses to messages maintaining brand voice.
