The Valley Art Center is seeking an Assistant Director and Gallery Manager to oversee all areas of gallery management and marketing strategies, and support the Executive Director in the areas of fundraising, programming, events and other general operation management in alignment with VAC’s mission. The ideal candidate’s attributes include strong managerial, organizational, and relationship building skills, as well as the ability to successfully work independently and in teams. Prior gallery management experience is extremely beneficial, but not required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for advancement in the future at Valley Art Center. The Assistant Director will build upon the positive VAC work culture and demonstrate leadership skills in the management, motivation, and development of professional staff.  See attached PDF for full job description.
