Arts and Health Education Program and Research Study: Participants wanted

The Arts and Health Education Program and Research Study aims to improve health, resilience, and well-being in individuals with chronic health conditions. The program is 8 weeks long (with a follow-up two months after the program ends) and takes place at Euclid Hospital.

The program is free and includes refreshments and a small stipend to cover transportation or other costs.

The program is a randomized controlled trial to help address health, resilience, and well-being. You will be randomly placed into either a health education group or an arts-based health education group. Both groups will attend for 8 weeks and various study assessments will be conducted in order to measure the experience and impact of the program.

Anyone 18 years and older with a chronic health condition (for example, diabetes, hypertension, CHF, COPD, asthma , weight, anxiety, depression, cardiac, arthritis, MS, and more) can take part in the study.

The program takes place on Wednesday evenings October 2 through November 20, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Refreshments are served from 5:30 - 6:00; program starts by 6:00 pm.

Contact Principal Investigator Lisa Gallagher, MA, MT-BC at 216-448-8334 to get involved.
