Do you have a pulse on the Northeast Ohio arts and cultural scene? Are you skilled in multimedia? ideastream’s Arts and Culture department is looking for a summer intern to assist in local content creation focusing on the region and reflecting diversity in art forms, ideas, and voices.

The Intern will assist in local arts and culture content production for digital, television, and radio platforms including The Sound of Ideas, Morning Edition, and All Things Considered on WCPN; Applause on WVIZ and online at ideastream.org, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Typical duties include producing and posting social media content; conducting interviews and capturing multimedia for broadcast and digital use; and researching local events for inclusion on our programming.

Please include a letter of interest, your resume, and three examples of your work with your application. Qualified applicants will have strong verbal and written communication skills, preferably in AP Style, and demonstrated experience in capturing, editing, and posting multimedia content for broadcast and digital use. Proficiency with using Adobe software is also required as is access to a computer and the Internet.

This is a paid internship that will be scheduled for approximately 10 hours per week for 10 weeks. This a remote position with the potential for some field work.
