NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS OF ART IN ALL MEDIUMS.
In an effort to support the artist communities in Cleveland and across the country, the Cleveland Print Room is opening up the Peer Show to artists of all mediums this one time. Jurors will choose up to 50 pieces of work to be displayed in an online exhibition on our website, www.clevelandprintroom.com. The Print Room will boost the exhibition link to Facebook, spend money to advertise on-line juried show and reach out to our national networks to increase viewership. Additionally, the winners in the Best in Show & Director’s Choice categories will be awarded a joint exhibition in the Print Room Gallery in March 2021.
JURIED BY: LISSA RIVERA & RUDDY ROYE
Lissa Rivera is a photographer and curator based in New York, NY. Rivera received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts, where she became fascinated with the social history of photography and the evolution of identity, sexuality and gender in relationship to material culture. Beautiful Boy, Rivera’s latest project, takes her interest in photography’s connection with identity to a personal level, focusing on her domestic partner as muse.
Radcliffe Roye is a Brooklyn based documentary photographer specializing in editorial and environmental portraits and photojournalism photography. A photographer with over twelve years of experience, Radcliffe is inspired by the raw and gritty lives of grassroots people, especially those of his homeland of Jamaica. Radcliffe strives to tell the stories of their victories and ills by bringing their voices to matte fibre paper.
ELIGIBILITY: Artists must reside in the US or Canada.Registration is $25 for CPR Members and $30 for CPR non-members. You can become a member today by clicking the “MEMBERSHIP” menu option on our website.
The registration fee allows each artist to submit up to two (2) pieces of original art in any art medium. Entry fees are non-refundable. ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED FROM MARCH 1 – MAY 1, 2020. Artists will be notified of acceptance by midnight, Friday, May 15.
