Abolitionist and Suffragist Sojourner Truth will take you on her life’s journey. She will be portrayed by Women in History’s Robin Echols Cooper

— Hale Farm & Village is hosting a celebration of Black culture from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11. The event will take place in the Gatehouse Visitor Center at 2686 Oak Hill Road, Peninsula.

1 p.m. Portrayed by Robin Echols Cooper, Women in History presents Sojourner Truth | Living history presentation of the famous 19th-century activist.
