What the U.S. Taught the Nazis: Deconstructing Nazism and Jim Crow South

In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join Dr. Kenneth F. Ledford, History Department Chair and Associate Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University, for a special lecture on What the U.S. Taught the Nazis.

In 1935, Adolf Hitler announced the passing of the Nuremberg Laws, establishing a legal structure that allowed for systematic persecution of Jews in Germany – an ideology inspired by American race law. Don’t miss this fascinating discussion.

An optional docent-led tour of the special exhibition This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement will be available from 6pm to 7pm, for those wishing to register at no extra charge. Please note your interest at
