The William H. Ford house was built in 1891 and used over the years as a private residence, rumored to be a boarding house for nuns, and a flophouse. Though many historic elements remained, the house was in disarray when it was purchased at a sheriff’s auction in 2014. Broken windows, a hole in the kitchen floor, and major structural issues made the home unlivable. With a lot of dedication, the current owners undertook four rounds of construction over the course of three years to get it to where it is today.
