Daniel Day Lewis is a womanizing Czech surgeon, Juliette Binoche his wife, and Lena Olin his mistress in Philip Kaufman’s passionate, romantic, cerebral, and sensuous love story set in 1968 Prague at the time of the Soviet invasion.
