The Man Who Sold His Skin

This 2021 Oscar nominated drama, inspired by a true case, tells of a Syrian refugee in Lebanon who agrees to let a Mephistophelian Western tattoo artist use his bare back as a “canvas” in exchange for money and entrée to Europe.
