The vast musical palate of Regina Carter helps the CJO kick off a celebration of women’s contributions to jazz.
New in our 35th year is the launch of our “Women in Jazz” series. We are very excited about our first guest artist in this series! Regina, a Downbeat Award winner, a Doris Duke Artist and a MacArthur Genius Award winner, is an internationally recognized figure whose artistry spans an incredibly wide gamut, ensuring that there truly will be “something for everyone” in this show.
