Meeting Location: We will assemble at the preserve. Park along Schweitzer Road near the intersection of Tote and Schweitzer Roads.
Field trip intensity: Moderate/Difficult – Trip leaders will go into the wetlands themselves but can bring discoveries out to the shore to show participants.
What to wear and bring (if out of the ordinary): Hiking boots and clothing befitting the weather, field gear, water, snacks, sunscreen if needed, binoculars, camera, hiking poles if desired. Waterproof boots are best as we will be visiting wet areas and trails will likely be muddy. Flashlights will be necessary.
