Right Down Broadway & The Pirates of Penzance

Don Edelman and Rollin DeVere II each served multiple terms as President at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre in addition to other Board positions. They also served in innumerable volunteer roles, including play selection, building management, fundraising, writing, and development. Perhaps most importantly, both of them provided our community with decades of outstanding performances both on stage and behind as actors, directors, writers, and producers.

These two monumental figures in the theatre’s history passed away due to complications from COVID in the past few months. In memory of these two great men, CVLT presents this double-feature streaming event.

Audiences can enjoy a digital reprise of Don’s final directorial turn with the cabaret concert Right Down Broadway, and Rollin’s favorite leading role as the Major-General in The Pirates of Penzance, digitized from our archival 1984 VHS. Both productions feature full orchestras and top-notch vocalists.
