Presti's Bakery Mural Unveiling

Artist Tara Seibel, owner of Tara Seibel Gallery (located above Presti’s Bakery) has painted a 3-panel mural (3’ x 18’) commissioned by Presti’s Bakery owner Claudia Dibartolo. The large scale public artwork entitled, Happy Feast, is a graphic-art-style painting depicting a celebration of community gathering around the bakery during The Feast. Artwork to be installed and displayed (on the west wall) in the bakery’s cafe area and unveiled Friday, December 1, 2023 at 8:00 pm.

The event is free to the public and will take place Friday evening during the kick-off of Little Italy’s Annual Holiday Art Walk : December 1-3 (Friday 5-9pm, Saturday, noon to 9:00pm and Sunday, noon – 5:00pm)

Tara’s studio and gallery (located above Presti’s Bakery) will be open from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. She will give an artist statement downstairs (between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm) where the mural is displayed. Tara’s collection of Little Italy ArtWalk posters and prints will be set up for sale in

the bakery until 9:30pm.

The Holiday Exhibition will feature Tara Seibel’s art collection of paintings, prints, comic art, fiber art and crafted jewelry. Guest local artists include: Will Wilson fine art paintings, ceramicist Brigitte Fiorille, Jeff Suntala original watercolors, Ralph Solonitz prints, and henna artist, Kristina Haberek of Cleveland Henna will be creating one-of-a-kind body art.
