Join us at the Praxis Natural Dye Garden to learn about the process of growing natural dyes. Tour the garden and try dyeing a square of fabric in our naturally grown indigo! Refreshments will be provided.

Praxis Fiber Workshop launched our Natural Dye Garden in 2018. This year, we are growing a main crop of indigo with a perimeter of marigold and weld. After processing, indigo yields the rich blue color popularly known as the color of denim. Marigold and weld yield a variety of shades of yellow. Come see how these plants are gown in an urban environment! Enjoy refreshments and experience natural dyeing by trying it yourself! We will have a pot of our naturally grown indigo and squares of fabric
