Shakespeare can sometimes seem like it’s a foreign language, but with the help of Playwrights like Lue Douthit, everyone can follow along!

Since 2015, Lue Morgan Douthit, Executive Director of Play On! and former Director of New Play Development & Dramaturgy at Oregon Shakespeare Festival (along with 36 playwrights) have ‘translated’ Shakespeare’s original texts to modern-day English as companion pieces to his works. We will be joined by Tyler, Delaney, and other member of the As You Like It cast for readings and demonstrations.
