Presented by Maltz Museum at Maltz Museum, Beachwood OH

Feb 21 2024
Once a Synagogue, Now a Church, Always a Place for Community

The focus of the talk will be the activities of young adults in the 70s, 80s, and 90s in the Glenville neighborhood around the Cory Methodist Church. Cory is the common denominator linking the past, civil rights and current standing in the community.

Make sure to attend this panel discussion featuring Joe Blundo, columnist at the Columbus Dispatch, Rev. Gregory Kendrick, Jr., Executive Director of the Cory Glenville Community Center, and Reginnia Williams, Ph.D., the Distinguished Scholar of African American History & Culture at the Western Reserve Historical Society. Participants will discuss Cory as a stop on the civil rights trail and what Cory means to the community.
