In preparation, read Living on the Wind by Scott Weidensaul and/or the novel, Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy. Weidensaul’s writing is both literary, informative, and a great read for the avid birder as well as a newcomer. McConaghy’s Migrations is the story of a woman following the last migration of the Arctic tern. Suggested donation: $5. Registration required.
