My Violin Weighs a Ton: Film Screening

Join us for a screening of My Violin Weighs a Ton, a documentary recapping a local project when students from the Lexington-Bell Community Center created and perfomed hip hop with a classical twist at Severance Hall

Immediately following the screening, project lead and hip-hop musician Archie Green and his collaborators, Kelsi Carter of Shooting Without Bullets and Tino Cash of 610 Filmworks, will hold a panel discussion.

Archie Green has been featured on various Cleveland-based media outlets including WKYC Channel 3, WCPN Ideastream, Cleveland Magazine, Cleveland.com, and Cleveland Scene. He was also selected as one of The Guardian’s 2019 Cleveland City Champions. His introspective single, “Layers” ... view more »
