This month we\’ll be talking about Mental Health Support. We’re thrilled to welcome Karen Kearney, Northeast Ohio Hub Director of the Mental Health & Addiction Advocacy Coalition (MHAC) and Jennifer Souers Chevraux, Development Director at Art Therapy Studio. The need for mental health support is a major priority for artists and their families right now. But with declining revenue, unemployment and lack of health insurance, it’s often inaccessible. Connection is so important to our mental health during this time so we’re hosting virtual meet-ups at 12 p.m., noon on the first Wednesday of each month. Drop in and listen, talk, turn your video off or keep it on, it’s up to you. The only rule is to keep the convo supportive. The rest is up to the group. We will be starting each chat with a prompt, then we’ll let the conversation go wherever people take it.
