Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Join the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Monday, January 17th in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy. Become inspired to find your voice and do your part to contribute to a more equitable world, just as artists have done throughout history through their music. The daylong celebration includes free virtual programming and museum admission and is a part of the Rock the Block Community Days presented by the John P. Murphy Foundation. Timed ticket reservations are required for free admission.

Stories of Rock: 

Ongoing, Self Guided – Stop by the Acoustic Lounge on Level 2 for Stories of Rock: Black Excellence. Test your knowledge of achievements by your favorite Black artists across the decades, and read along to learn more about the role of music and culture in the Civil Rights Movement.

Blood Drive:

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Blood Drive with Vitalant

Dr. King was dedicated to service, pay it forward to honor him by donating blood during your visit to the Rock Hall.  All donors will receive a 10% discount to be used in the Rock Hall store.

Stories of Rock: 

Main Exhibit Hall – Learn the stories behind the artifacts of our exhibit “It’s Been Said All Along: Rage, Hope, and Empowerment” from Rock Hall Educators at 12pm and 1pm.

Film Screening:
