Based on the second book in L. Frank Baum’s Oz series, young Tip escapes an evil witch, then sets out on an adventure to the Emerald City.
Along the way he meets the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, and some other new friends while discovering more about himself than he ever thought possible. With book and lyrics by celebrated playwright George Brant (Grounded, Marie & Rosetta) and music by Dobama Artistic Director Nathan Motta, this World Premiere musical for the whole family will come to the Dobama Theatre stage this holiday season.

(For student rate, student must be Full-time and 25 year of age or younger. Students may be counted toward the 10 patrons forming a group sale as long as Student tickets do not constitute over 50% of the total group attending.)
*Need-based PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN tickets: are available for any available seat one hour prior to every performance.

There is a $3 processing fee per ticket for all credit card transactions, including online, by phone, and in person.
The first Sunday of every production is a 7:30pm Pay-What-You-Can performance
Preview Performances are at 7:30pm on select Tuesdays – Thursdays prior to opening night. (see show calendars)
All seats for Preview Performances are $17, but need-based Pay-What-You-Can tickets are also available for previews.
Tickets are available at all prices, We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover cards. There is a service charge for all credit card transactions, including by phone and in person.

Dobama Theatre has a no refund policy. Cancellations of prepaid tickets may be transferred for a $3/ ticket exchange fee to a future performance in the current season based on availability or transferred into a tax-deductible donation

Free parking is available on-site at the Cleveland Heights/University Heights Library on the east and west sides of Lee Road. Street parking is free and available on Corydon and Coleridge Roads. Handicap parking is available behind the theater in designated spots.
