Inlet’s 2023 Summer Workshop & Audition

Instead of a formal audition, Inlet will hold a free two-day workshop for those interested in joining our Trainee & Apprentice Program for the 2023-2024 season. The workshop will include classes in Erick Hawkins-based release modern technique, Alison Chase/Pilobolus-based nontraditional partnering, and structured improvisation. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn selections from Inlet’s 22 years of repertory.

Date: June 26 & 27, 9-3pm

Location: Cleveland, OH

This workshop & audition will take place at Inlet’s brand new headquarters in the recently renovated Pivot Center for Art, Dance & Expression located in the Clark-Fulton Neighborhood of Cleveland, OH. The Pivot Center is also the home of several other arts and social service organizations.

During Inlet Dance Theatre’s 22-year history, we have transformed from a small dance company with local impact into a celebrated organization that impacts people on an international level. The company’s motto is “using dance to further people”. The company seeks skilled dance artists with a desire to collaborate, educate and perform.
