One of the best films we saw at this year’s Cleveland Int’l Film Festival is a touching, poignant, and humanistic portrait of workplace camaraderie. Franz Rogowski of Transit and Sandra Hüller of Toni Erdmann play shy, reticent co-workers at a German big box store. They slowly fall for each other—that is, when he’s not learning how to operate a forklift or there’s not some other crisis at the supermarket. Subtitles. DCP. 125 min.
