CCMS presents Imani Winds in their return to Cleveland for a concert of wind quintets featuring pieces by Bozza, Carter, Tomasi, Hillborg, and Coleman.
Celebrating 20 years of music making, the Grammy nominated Imani Winds has led both a revolution and the evolution of the wind quintet through their dynamic playing, adventurous programming, imaginative collaborations and outreach endeavors that have inspired audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Pre-concert talk @6:30 p.m. with Chris Jenkins, Oberlin College. Chris is an educator, administrator, and performing violist. He is an expert on African-American participation in the field of classical music, and presents on issues of diversity in classical music.
A post-concert reception and artist meet-and-greet is dependent upon Covid-19 protocols and state and county recommendations at the time of the concert.
