This event will explore Cleveland’s haunted history and highlight our Spiritualist past as well as tales from the Cleveland’s Other Side! Guests will enjoy local treats, craft beverages and themed activities like candlelit storytelling within the historic Hay-McKinney Mansion. Join us beforehand for a YP Pub Crawl:
It’s time for the Young Professionals of the WRHS annual Fall Pub Crawl! This year we are doing things a little differently, and by differently, we mean we are upping the spooky factor. We think you’re going to like it!
The Details: (1:30PM-5PM)
Meet up at ABC The Tavern at 11434 Uptown Ave for registration at 1:30 pm. After everyone is registered and sipping their celebratory first drinks, enjoy a little underground history as Chad Malkamaki shares the story of the Jazz Temple and the mysterious circumstances around the fire that closed the club.
After spending some time at ABC, head over to Dave’s Subs & Music at 11310 Juniper Rd to grab another drink and relax while Chad continues with the story of famous citizens that called University Circle home.
Once we wrap up at Dave’s, we will finish the night at the Cleveland History Center with Chad’s final installment in Cleveland Starts Here and the museum’s history in the neighborhood. Then (now here is when things start to get spooky) head over to CHC’s History on Tap: Cleveland’s Haunted History event! We don’t know about you, but cocktails, Cleveland and costumes sounds like the perfect Saturday to us!
