Healing Arts Workshop: Heart Hugs

As we grieve a loved one’s death, we feel sadness in the absence of their physical presence. Participants will make a huggable heart-shaped fleece pillow, adding fabric from the loved one’s clothing if desired, to help them cope with loss.

This two-part series takes place over two weeks. Masks are required and social distancing will be maintained.

In the first session, the Art Therapist will provide project supplies and instructions, and guide a conversation around aspects of grief and healing. In the second session, participants share their creations, discuss their process, and share stories and memories of their loved ones.

In-person workshops are subject to change. Please contact Mollie for workshop status. Admission is free, but a donation of $5 to Hospice of the Western Reserve is suggested.
