The Healing Arts provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief. This ongoing monthly group allows participants to gather with others who are grieving to create all things fabric as they share memories and fabric arts knowledge.
Attendees can create lasting memories of their loved one using pieces of their clothing in pillows and quilts; others choose to crochet, knit, or do other types of needlework. The group meets in an art therapy studio where sewing machines are available for use. However, projects are flexible and no previous sewing experience is necessary.
