Good Company: A Vocal Ensemble Virtual Master Class and Concert with Composer James Mulholland

Join Good Company and acclaimed Composer Dr. James Mulholland for this inspiring virtual event! Dr. Mulholland will join us live on Zoom to lead a Master Class on the significant connection between poetry and vocal music. Good Company singers will also present choral settings of poetry by Mulholland, Lauridsen, Szymko and Whitacre.

Dr. James Mulholland is one of the most published, commissioned, and performed composers of his time. With over 600 compositions, he is known for his romantic choral settings of poetry. He is also an accomplished music educator and has led countless clinics, workshops, all-state choirs and is professor emeritus at Butler University, where he has taught for over 55 years. This event is part of Good Company’s Contemporary Composers Series.
