German Day Cleveland is on October 6, 2024, the first Sunday in October – celebrating German heritage in Cleveland.
German Day Cleveland is the local recognition of the national German-American Day celebrating German American heritage. In 1983, President Reagan proclaimed October 6 as German-American Day to honor the 300th anniversary of German immigration to the thirteen colonies and has been designated as German-American Day every year since.
