February is Engineering Month

This February, explore the science of engineering at the Science Center! All activities are included with general admission unless otherwise noted. Note: program themes and timing are subject to change.

Force and Motion Science Show
Tuesday – Friday: 1 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 2 p.m.
Forces are with us as we explore Isaac Newton’s three laws of motion using a fire tornado, a liquid nitrogen engine, and a gravity defying finale!

Magnetism Cart Activity
Tuesday – Saturday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday: 1 – 4 p.m.
In this brand-new, hands-on activity, explore how magnets work and some unusual things magnets can do!

Rigamajig Cart Activity
Tuesday – Saturday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday: 1 – 4 p.m.
Use your imagination and engineer your creations using large wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts, chutes, and more!
