Doan Brook Spring Stream Sweep

Presented by Doan Brook Watershed Partnership at Rockefeller Park Lagoon Gazebo, Cleveland OH

Apr 21 2018
Doan Brook Spring Stream Sweep

Community members are invited to celebrate Earth Day and make a difference by volunteering for the annual Doan Brook Spring Stream Sweep, to be held in Cleveland’s historic Rockefeller Park on Saturday, April 21.

Litter such as plastic bags, bottles, food wrappers, Styrofoam, and coffee cups wash down storm drains that connect to local streams and rivers – ultimately ending up in Lake Erie, our source of drinking water. Individuals, families and community groups will have the chance to get a little wet, a little dirty, and have a lot of fun pulling trash and debris from the stream corridor or pulling invasive garlic mustard from the surrounding banks.

Volunteers will meet at Rockefeller Park Lagoon
