Diversity Through the Arts as Part of STEAM Summer Camp

Diversity Through the Arts is one of The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio’s premiere youth programs. Working in collaboration with Esperanza and Natividad Pagan International Newcomers Academy, this program integrates music, visual, and language arts with lessons focused on inclusiveness, tolerance, race relations, and communication skills while promoting students’ creativity, leadership, and academic success. Diversity Through the Arts challenges students to think critically about art and interpret its meaning while introducing them to various art forms. Students practice conveying their thoughts and feelings through art while exploring their own self and identity.

The program is part of STEAM summer camp offered by Esperanza, and programming will be adapted for English as a Second Language learners.

The Diversity Through The Arts programs will take place June 14, June 21, July 10, and July 12th.  All sessions are 10 am to 12:30 pm.
