Dinner with a Slice of History

Join us as we welcome Sarah Rickman, Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) historian and author, as our guest speaker for our second Dinner with a Slice of History. Rickman is an award-winning author whose books focus on the Women’s Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron (WAFS) and WASP. She has spent many years getting to know many of these women, documenting their stories and experiences and preserving their history for future generations. She will present the history of these amazing women who served our country as test pilots, ferry pilots, instructors and target-towing pilots during WWII. Copies of her books, including her new ones, will be available for purchase. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation to follow. A book signing will take place after the presentation. Tickets are $15 for IWASM members and $17 for non-members.
