The International Women’s Air & Space Museum (IWASM) is pleased to announce the return of Dinner with a Slice of History, a program made possible through a Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC) grant.

Deborah Chung’s late mother, Rebecca Chan Chung (1920-2011), was a U.S. World War II Army veteran having worked as a nurse with the Flying Tigers during the Battle for Hong Kong. For her service, she was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. As a nurse, Rebecca Chan Chung’s work included flying over the Hump for about 50 times—considered the most dangerous in the history of aviation.
